If you will be delivering with a car:
If you are using your vehicle, you must ensure that you are properly covered. You must have both ‘SOCIAL, DOMESTIC AND PLEASURE (SD&P)’ and ‘HIRE AND REWARD’ Insurance to work with Parcel Royale. You must provide this document before you can work with us.
This is the normal insurance that covers you for using your vehicle on a daily basis. It protects you when you are not on a Parcel Royale assignment. This type of insurance is required by law for all vehicles that have not been declared off-road.
Hire and reward insurance, known also as 'the carrying of goods for hire and reward,' is a sort of commercial insurance coverage for your car or van that is legally required in the UK if you are a courier who makes deliveries (parcels or food delivery) to persons in your local area. This policy also applies to anyone else employed to deliver products.
Of course. A lot of our riders take up this work to earn a second income. They choose their own hours of work. Once you are available to work, just toggle the availability button on your rider app
This is not a requirement. However, we will conduct a thorough background check to be sure.
Our riders get paid for the deliveries they make. These fees will be paid on Friday of every week. If for whatever reason you want your pay before payday, you can apply for this in the rider's app, at the cost of £1 processing fee.
As a rider, any tips earned as a result of your exceptional service will be paid to you 100% on the payday
The delivery fees will vary with every order, while the distance covered in each order will be calculated accordingly. This will appear on your phone screen to help you decide whether to accept the assignment or not.
